Just to let the Radio listeners know that Patsy Barnes, wife of Max D. Barnes passed away tonight. As you know, Max D. passed away in January, so now, they are TOGETHER AGAIN! Although my heart is heavy, as my dear little Sister-in-Law Patsy, had also been my best friend for most of my life, I am happy that she and Max D. are re-united. She was a great singer and also wrote some songs...one of which Vern Gosdin recorded:BABY SINGS THE BLUES DOWN ON BROADWAY. So if any of you DJ's happen to have that record, or if you have "TOUCHING SOULS" on Max D's album...that's Patsy singing harmony with Max. I would appreciate it if you might mention that to your listeners. And thank you to all of you who did Radio Tributes to brother Max D.recently. I have received about 40 CD's from all over the world...of Radio Tributes you folks did about him! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! May I request a song on your radio station, in honor of Patsy???????? Please play "SUNDAY MORNING COMING DOWN" if you can find it... or Amazing Grace or THE OLD RUGGED CROSS... and dedicate it to Patsy from me, will you? Those were some songs she always sang!!! Thank you, and God bless Sincerely Ruthie Steele A&R Records Nashville
